Thru Hole Technology

First, boards go through the Universal Dip Inserter, which loads all dual in-line packages. Our Universal Dip Inserter can automatically insert every type of dual in-line package. The Universal Dip Inserter machine can handle every type (both .300 and .600 widths) at the rate of 4800 parts per hour. If sockets are indicated, it inserts them prior to placing the dips.

While this is in progress, our high-speed, 60 station Universal Sequencer/Verifier de-reels axial leaded components and, at a rate of 25,000 parts per hour, re-reels them in the proper sequence for processing by the Universal Axial Auto-Inserter. At the same time, its verifier circuit tests all the sequenced parts to assure they are up to specification. There is no extra charge for this added-value service.

Our Universal Axial Auto-Inserter puts the sequenced parts in their proper places on the board and clinches their legs to the board. This prevents parts from slipping or falling out, also ensuring a better solder joint by providing a larger solder contact point.

This processing protocol is not only faster and more cost-efficient than hand assembly, it's infinitely more accurate. We take great pride in our virtually error-free performance. You and your customers will appreciate it too. State-of-the-art automated sequencing and insertion equipment is just one of the many ways United Circuits on-going investment, and application of, leading-edge technology serves you.

Here at United Circuits, we stay on the cutting edge of thru hole technology and equipment.

We also maintain our equipment daily so to always provide optimal performance and high quality product.
