Engineering Department
Our Engineering Department brings you more than 100 years of combined experience. This assures our customers the assistance and expertise they need with every project. Engineering is responsible for designing manufacturing process flows and manufacturing instructions for each assembly built by UCI. This includes SMT, PTH, Box-Builds and Cable assemblies. All machine programming and thermal profiles are Engineering functions. Engineering works closely with Manufacturing to ensure that fit, form and function meet and/or exceed customer requirements. This cohesive relationship yields a high quality product.
We use UNICAM Version 6.2 with the following:
UNIDOC Modules
Total CAD package.
Cadence, PADS, Intergraph, and more.
AutoCAD (DXF & DWG), Gerber (GBR) file formats.
Gerbcam converter to Universal machine module interface.
Siemens machine module interface.
