Cable Operations Quality

United Circuits Cable Operations quality is to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

All cable assemblies are 100% tested using a Cirris 1100H+ computerized test station.

Cables are tested for opens, continuity, capacitance, resistance, and hi-potential.

Hi-Pot is selective from 50VDC to 1,000VDC based upon customer requirements, and the dwell time is selective from 0.1 seconds to 60 seconds.

United Circuits custom builds test fixtures to interface with the Cirris 1100H+ test station using actual mating connectors to assure simulated field function.

All Cat 5e cables are tested to T568B standards using  a Fluke DTX-1800 test station.

A copy of the Cirris test results or the Fluke test results is printed out for each cable assembly and shipped with the assembly to certify the testing process.

The Quality Management System is chaired by the United Circuits President, Tim Caudle.

ANSI/ IPC Training is conducted by an in-house Certified Instructor.
